| 1 Corinthians 4 1-4Don't
imagine us leaders to be something we aren't. We are servants of
Christ, not his masters. We are guides into God's most sublime secrets,
not security guards posted to protect them. The requirements for a good
guide are reliability and accurate knowledge. It matters very little to
me what you think of me, even less where I rank in popular opinion. I
don't even rank myself. Comparisons in these matters are pointless. I'm
not aware of anything that would disqualify me from being a good guide
for you, but that doesn't mean much. The Master makes that judgment. 5So
don't get ahead of the Master and jump to conclusions with your
judgments before all the evidence is in. When he comes, he will bring
out in the open and place in evidence all kinds of things we never even
dreamed of—inner motives and purposes and prayers. Only then will any
one of us get to hear the "Well done!" of God. | | |
| that was the word for the last night of Mega Sports Camp. Most of us know Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But if you are like me, you stop there and say. "Yeah I am a big sinner" and don't read any further.
well read THIS!
Romans 3:23-27 (New Living Translation)
23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. 24
Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He
did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our
sins. 25 For God presented
Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when
they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This
sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not
punish those who sinned in times past, 26
for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this
present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he
himself is fair and just, and he declares sinners to be right in his
sight when they believe in Jesus.

| 1 Peter 5
6Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 8Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9Resist
him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers
throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. 10And
the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ,
after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and
make you strong, firm and steadfast. 11To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.

| Colossians 1
9-12Be assured that from
the first day we heard of you, we haven't stopped praying for you,
asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to his will, and
so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which God works. We
pray that you'll live well for the Master, making him proud of you as
you work hard in his orchard. As you learn more and more how God works,
you will learn how to do your work. We pray that you'll have the
strength to stick it out over the long haul—not the grim strength of
gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength
that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the
Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and
beautiful that he has for us. 13-14God
rescued us from dead-end alleys and dark dungeons. He's set us up in
the kingdom of the Son he loves so much, the Son who got us out of the
pit we were in, got rid of the sins we were doomed to keep repeating.
